Vocabulary:
1.- Mass: the amount of matter in an object. It is measured with a balance and reported in kilograms.
Example1: mass of human body
Example2: Mass of Earth
Example3: Balance
2.- Volume: the amount of space an object takes up. It is measured by seeing how many cubes of a chosen size it can fill and it is reported in cubic centimeters.
Example: Volume of geometric figures and how to calculate it
Example2: Measuring volume
3.- Density: a measure of how tightly packed matter is; the amount of mass contained in a given volume. It can be found by dividing the mass of a sample by its volume (grams / cubic centimeter)
Example1: Density of liquids
Example2: Density of gas
Example3: Density of some substances
Example1: Buoyancy of a cube
Example2: Buoyancy of human body
Example3: Buoyancy of a bottle
Example4: Buoyancy of a coke can
Example5: General Principal
5.- Conduct: allow heat or electricity to flow through readily.
Example1: Conductivity
Example1: What is conductivity
Example2: Conductivity Cell
Example3: Conductivity Tester
Example1: Insulate House Diagram
Example2: Insulate Wall
Example3: Paint to Insulate Roof
